Missed a class? Scheduling a makeup is now easier than ever.

Parents can now log into the Parent Portal and schedule eligible makeup classes themselves—24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

How to Schedule a Makeup Class

Parents can now schedule eligible makeup classes directly through the Parent Portal anytime!

  1. Log into the Parent Portal.

  2. From the menu, select Absences & Makeups.

  3. In the Past section, locate the absence you would like to make up.

  4. Click Schedule Makeup.

  5. A window will open showing:

    • The missed class information

    • Your child’s name

    • Available makeup class options

  6. Click Select on your preferred makeup class.

  7. Click Submit to confirm your makeup reservation.

​Once submitted, your makeup class will be scheduled automatically.

Summer

2026​​​

Enrollment in our Summer Session means you have unlimited makeups that even carry over into Fall Session 1! 
We know this may make things a bit tricky, our office staff is still here to help you schedule your makeups and answer all of your questions!

Important Notes:​

  • Makeups can only be scheduled after the absence has occurred.

  • Available classes will vary based on openings.

  • Schedule early for the best selection.

  • If no classes appear, there are currently no eligible makeup openings available.

  • Please report absences carefully. Once an absence is submitted, MGA may fill that class opening with a makeup student. If your child attends a class after an absence has been reported, the class may exceed its capacity limits and your child may not be able to participate that day.

Makeup Policy​

Makeup classes are offered as a courtesy and are based on availability and not guaranteed. We will do our best to accommodate missed classes while maintaining fairness for all families.

  • Students are limited to two (2) makeup classes per session. Missed classes do not carry over into future sessions.

  • Please notify the office if your child will be absent so we can properly record the missed class.

  • Makeup class availability is limited. Any scheduled makeup that is not canceled in WRITING at least 5 hours in advance will be considered used. No-shows will also be counted as used.

  • If a student withdraws from the program, any unused makeup classes are forfeited.

  • There are no credits, refunds, or transfers for missed classes.

  • Please note all makeups will expire at the end for the current session.​​​​​

  • Makeup availability may vary by age, level, enrollment, and class capacity.
